• Scott Boyles hit the ground running when he became the owner and president of Logan Heating and Air Conditioning on the last day of 2008. Since then, his pace hasn't slowed down one bit. With a five-year goal of doubling business, Boyles began instituting changes in every department. He put strong emphasis on commitment to personal service, and began actively seeking customer feedback. That type of leadership and dedication to task paid dividends. While new construction and other related industries were in a slump last year, Logan's revenues grew, even exceeding the previous year's earnings.

• Boyles is passionate about clean, renewable energy and was the first to aggressively advertise and market geothermal systems to both residential and commercial customers in the Triad. Boyles was general manager of Logan ten years before buying the company, providing him the capability of being knowledgeable about all the departments in the company. He put seasoned professionals in charge of sales, design, installation, service, and maintenance and gave them the responsibility and authority to make Logan the best in the business. Leading Logan Heating and Air Conditioning to the success it has today, Boyles does not only make use of his abilities in his own company, but throughout the community he resides in, as well. He is an active member of numerous organizations such as the Home Builders Association, the Clemmons Rotary Club, and the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce. Boyles has made certain that Logan is a good corporate citizen by being effectively involved in the community.

• As a result, various groups and organizations of all types have been recipients of the company's participation. Among them are Brenner's Children's Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, Crisis Control Ministries, Horizons Residential Care, the YMCA, and Little League teams.
